Summer is right around the corner- and you know with summer comes swimsuit season. I just can't wait to hit the beaches and pool parties. But, before that I need a fabulous swimsuit. Monif C has answered my prayers- they sent me this edgy lime crush swimsuit.
Being a curvy busty girl- it can be hard to find a swimsuit with the perfect fit or one that fits at all. When I look for a swimsuit- I need one with the right support and coverage. That is why I was extra happy when I put on this swimsuit. It fits! It feels like a second skin and trust when I say my girls are happy. I love how it hugs my curves just right. I feel sexy and edgy.
Mixing a mesh top and leopard can sometimes look tacky, but I think their is nothing sexier then a mesh top paired with a fun print (when done right). Mesh tops are revealing so pairing it with a midi skirt is perfect! I believe if you're going to show of the girls cover up the legs and vise versa.
Style Tip: If the leopard print and mesh combo is to much for you: switch to a black midi skirt or a pair oh high-waisted skinny jeans.
This look brings out my Sasha fierce. I feel confident and sexy in this outfit. I can't get enough of this mesh top from Fashion to Figure- worn with the right bra or bralette can look very chic. The top is sexy and the leopard print skirt elevates the outfit to the next level. The outfit has so much going on that I decided to just wear a ring and strappy heels. I wouldn't wear this on a lunch date or dinner but perfect for a girl's night out.
Who said plus size girls can't wear all white? I've always hated this ridiculous rule and I'm here to break it and show you how. I love this monochromatic look because it's chic an sophisticated. It's also always in style especially for this spring/summer. I put together 3 fun all white outfits to help inspire you how to pull off this style.
I adore this white flared dress from Fashion to Figure. This dress is a must have in your wardrobe because you can dress it up or down. It literally goes with everything. It's soft, comfortable, and very flattering to any body type. This boho look was easy to put together- it's all in the accessories. To create this lovely all white bohemian look I put on a flower headband, some round retro sunglasses, and lace up booties.
Bring back your sexy with a lace-up dress. A dress with a lace-up details is sexy without showing too much. This dress is a show stopper so accessories where not needed just a pair of black single strap heels. Unfortunately, this dress sold out but I found similar dresses with a lace-up details down below.
Putting together white denim and a white blouse is a great way to pull off an all white look. It's super casual and chic. You get the comfort of the jeans and the blouse dresses up the look. A white hat and black single strap heels complete the look.
It seems like lately my looks have a little bohemian element. Bare with me. I'm just in this boho kick. Festival season is in the air. Not only am I wearing boho everything but I love to wear my favorite pieces over and over again. Style wouldn't be fun without the challenge of wearing something over again and creating a completely different look.
Style Tip: Tuck in a flowy blouse for a better put together look and also to show off that figure.
I love this top so much I wanted to show you ladies another way to rock this bell sleeve blouse from Fashion to Figure. Last time you saw me paired this top with a floral skirt (here)- which created a little dressy and romantic look. Today's look is a bit more casual. By the way don't mess out on a good deal, this blouse is on sale! I wore this outfit when I went to go see the Voice. It was such a fun day. I had a great time! I got to see Christina Aguilera and Pharrell perform. This outfit was perfect- I was comfy, stylish but not too dressed up. Pairing this top with skinny jeans dressed down the blouse. A skinny scarf and rounds sunglasses completed this look. Here's a little secret, this scarf was actually a belt from some old pants. I thought it suited better as a scarf. What do you think?
I’ve always had insecurities about my legs growing up. I would avoid short skirts, dresses and shorts. I wore pants 24/7. I’m glad to say those days are over. As time went by I grew to love myself and embrace my body. I just can’t believe the time I wasted disliking my body. Life is to short to worry about that. I learned every body type is different and beautiful. This warmer season I’m embracing these thick legs I got from my mamma and wearing shorts, short skirts and dresses as much as I can.
Style Tip: Wearing high heels with shorts elongate your legs. You will feel and look sexy.
Can I say I love these short shorts from Forever 21+. The crochet details on the sides is my favorite. I love the color and pattern. They also sit right above my belly button. As you might know I love any bottom with a high waist. I paired these shorts with a cold shoulder top also from Forever 21+. Unfortunately, they sold out of the top but I will provide similar options down below. Keeping up with the warmer temperatures I wore this fun white hat to keep the sun away. Silver toned jewelry like this necklace and bangles were a perfect match for this look. I completed this outfit with platform heels that are a bright blue. Lately my favorite thing to do is adding a pop of color to my outfit when I’m wearing black and white. Adding a pop of color elevates the look.
